I've always envisioned the life of some white American guy who's been chilling in his Moms basement since his early teen years and has kinda just been doing his own thing since. He's a pretty chill and mellow dude, late 20's, maybe drives a forklift or something for work, kind of just been working at warehouses part-time since graduating High School. Has a stocky build, goes to the gym whenever he can but isn't super religious about it. He owns the latest gaming gadgets like the PS5, the Switch (hacked) and a mid-end gaming PC. Isn't super gungho about it though, just owns the games and series he likes. He mods most of his systems anyways and revisits old retro games every now and then. Is not a consoomer at all, mostly just shitposts on /v/, /fit/, sometimes /biz/ and /g/, and has the free time to do so and browses the latest news on tech, health and business. He's got a cozy bedroom layout with a decade old couch and lots of comforters and carpets laying around. Again isn't a consoomer so rarely if any merch, maybe has a really vanilla poster about birds or some shit. Outside of his gaming rigs he doesn't live an extravagant lifestyle and doesn't pay rent, so he's got a shit ton of savings. Invests for his retirement and is gonna inherit the home anyways. Doesn't care much for girls and meditates every now and then, mostly just goons.
I can't stop ruminating over how comfy it'd be if it was a cold winter day, you just got off your part-time job at 11 AM and arrive home after working since 7 AM, it starts snowing hard JUST as you arrive home, you brew up some hot coffee, put on your comfy jammies, make yourself a steamy hot pot of vegetable stew, you go into your bedroom and put on layers of the comfiest comforters as you lay on your bed, watching some youtube or something while youve got a laptop on your drawer to your side with 4chan open. The blizzard outside juxtaposing with the absolute comfiness empire you've made for yourself.
>>81778130 (OP)That's just the average sub 5 males life nowadays.
I mean after 26 you get kicked off your parents health insurance, so like literally any medical problems or even just a dental visit becomes financially perilous if you're a NEET after 26, especially with medicaid being cut again so you don't even get that
>>81778179Nowhere in my post mentions being a NEET.
>>81778264anyone wageslaving would seek validation and self worth of moving out
neet is the only 26+ mommys basement lifestyle
and yes its god tier and ultra comfy and the best way to live, you are just wageslaving your entire life right now for the opportunity to one day live like that in your old age
>>81778130 (OP)Living in a big house in a suburb is based, Americans have it made.
>>81778130 (OP)Owning the latest gadgets and all that other nonsense no.
But having my own workshop in my room is very comfy. Wake up get up sit down pc on and solder iron running. Test equipment next to me fixing something or trying to cobble something together so I can move on to another step holding me back. I want to keep collecting more. One day shelves of oscilloscope and spectrum analyzers old but in working condition ready for when they ate needed again. Draws of ics and components. I hope so one day. I'm already part way there.
>>81778130 (OP)This will be me one day masallah, my plan is simply to buy a house in the suburbs for my mom so i can be with her until she's super old, i'll probably have my bum ass brothers paying rent and live in a super big basement.
Their stupid gfs and snot nosed kids would be running around but it won't bother me at all since im in the basement most of the time.
i'm so close bros
>>81779349Most I do is leatherworking at my desk. I was also building ali express watches before trump ruined ali express. I want to get a good sewing machine and start making my own clothes but I just bought a 9070xt.
>>81778130 (OP)I'm turning 24 next month and have been NEET since 18 when I graduated highschool. It's great really if you have things you like to do it's like being a small king. It's only because I'm so dependent though I've never had a job and don't plan on getting one for as long as I can and I also have no idea how the adult world works and am terrified of it.
>He's a pretty chill and mellow dude, late 20's, maybe drives a forklift or something for work, kind of just been working at warehouses part-time since graduating High School. Not really a NEET then but this is what I imagine to be the most balanced. I'm actually fucked if I was just thrust into the outside world and needed to take care of myself. I literally have no idea how anything works it's all seemed to complicated to me since like 5th grade I feel like around then is when I started to give up. I always just wanted to stay in my room and play vidya or watch stuff online.

>>81779455You could do forklift anon, lots of socially awkward nerdy weirdo types do it, I used to work with someone who dropped out of high school to play phantasy star online on the dreamcast in 1999
