I don't even know how to be myself at this point. There's just the mask. I don't want to look like a freak. But keeping up with normies is such a struggle. I can do okay if I'm used to specific people. But there's been so many new people at work lately that I'm starting to have trouble managing. Starting to shut down. Having trouble managing small talk and making eye contact. Then I can't even relax on the weekend. My step mom has this air humidifier that she fills with like fabric softener because she says it makes the house smell better. It's so awful. I can turn it off during the week because they're usually gone but they leave it on all weekend and don't want me turning it off. Even though I've told them how much it bothers me. They don't care. I've just been miserable lately.

I did try when this first started. I communicated to them how much it bothered me. My step mom said she loved me and would put it away. But then my dad just put it back out and my step my was just like "haha oh well, nothing I can do about that". Pretty sure they both just hate me. But I guess I could just try breaking it like that and see what happens.
