My friend was in the AF he said Japan and Germany are the top destinations everyone wants to be assigned to so you have basically no chance of getting sent there unless you have rich parents or something. The troops there just party 24/7 and fuck prostitutes so it's where they send the rich kids that are basically useless in combat roles.
