I am not bitter in my solitude. I've just had to accept that women are not capable of the love I want and that they just aren't the answer. It may even be the case that love is an emotion entirely rooted in fantasy. Everything is transactional and in the end this is just a part of nature.
We aspire to those higher emotions and try to embrace them as we do/did with gods, because they're something to aspire to. When we throw those things away we become paralyzed rather easily. It's not easy to continue to move when there's nothing at the end of the long road.
