Hey champ, USA citizen here. Almost no one is making at 170-200k at ANY job unless you're a doctor or some other bigshot. Half the country cannot afford a $1000 emergency expenditure without entering into debt and tons of people already have debt. The wealth of this nation is concentrated at the top of the pyramid.
