They are, but they're also heretical. You can be a christian but go against many of the principles like worshiping saints and making them intercede on your behalf to God. There's not to mention how they worship the pope. You don't need to have a dead saint or someone in power intercede for you. God knows your heart. Pray towards him. The only intercession that should be done is or people who are unable to, and you don't need to pray to a saint for that.

Branching off that last paragraph: Christians need to stop idol worshiping and bowing before the cross. This isn't even a Catholic issue, but an issue with most Christians. This is idol worship and bowing before a graven image. Direct the prayers towards God, not through a symbol or icon.
