Lazy. It it's a rainy, summer day, so I don't really feel like getting out of my bed. Thankfully my neetbux have me covered.

no, but I play Blue Archive a lot, since I don't have to use emulator anymore

you can set it in the boorus options without an account to show the original by default.

Use the 4chanXT userscript then. It automatically downscales images to fit the limit.

Anyways im the guy you talked about ADHD meds with. To be honest they are not that impressive, or at least the ones i have. They last only a couple of hours and are usually taken in the morning because they might hurt your sleep. Basically useless for drawing in workdays.
Anyways im trying to do more and more from imagination with less fitting references to get me thinking. Will do a proper study session on wednesday as im home earlier and with a lot more energy.

>even with higher dosages or you havent tried that yet?
Higher dosages do not affect how long Methylphenidate (Ritalin) works. You can make it more intense but if you feel it working for 3 hours at 10mg, the same will probably hold true for 40mg. But again, im not a doctor(don't take anything as advice). There is a drug that works for around 9-12 hours but that is something i can't just switch to by myself. Might take a while to get medically cleared again. In the meantime a higher dose and smarter timing with the risk or worse sleep is the way to go for me. I already took one pill around 8 hours before sleep with the drug supposedly being able to disrupt it a long while after it stopped working which supposedly takes around 8 hours too but i slept just fine.

>also i like the drawing you posted! very good work
Thanks. According to /ic/ a lot of people are unhappy with their art when they are switching from copies or heavily referenced drawings to ones from imagination which is probably what im experiencing. Wednesday however might change that for the better. Rehashing the basics after not drawing for god knows how long is sure to make things better.

Yeah i do. And even when getting enough or too much sleep i still feel weak. The meds work against it but it seems i can overpower them to the point where i can sleep as if i never took them, which is still not very good sleep however. Never tried sleeping while the meds are actively working at their peek however.
Also i have never made good experiences with sleep supplements.
>i always kinda wondered just how much reference artists use to make their own art
There are occasional threads about this on /ic/. From what i remember almost everybody uses references, especially for poses and when studying. The better you get the less you have use them but its still a fairly basic building block i think.

Also thanks for participating in the /bant/ thread. I think it has an underrated OC community which needs to be fueled. From what i get there is the italian drawfag, one other, me, and the british shizo frogposter. At least these are the ones i know off.

Okay maybe "skipping" is not the word here, I mean I still have 3 meals a day but also these days I sleep until 1 PM usually so it's more like a brunch I guess? I understand need breakfast when you wake up at like 6 or 7 AM and need to hurry up and rush out of the house but when you're not in a hurry anywhere extra calories aren't THAT nessesary I think. Even when I used to get up at 6 AM I don't have time for a proper meal I usually just had a mug of tea for the first caffeine dose and also to wash down pills. Does anyone here have a problem that when you eat something and immidiately start moving your stomach gets upset? Cause I have that and I hate it (that's why I prefer not to gorge myself in the morning if I'm gonna have to run to bus stop).

specific comms protocol libraries as how they're used in C++ and Python. Pythoning around more because it's quicker and I don't need C++ compactness and precision at the moment
>oh i love helldivers 2! what kind of builds are they?
they're for CQC against ambushes cuz that's where the game is the most intense. it's basically to build around heavy medic armor with whatever has manageable good stopping power against light melee enemies as you're shooting at melee range (protip: not eruptor, not breakers, not the knight, not the sickle) and stratagems that either prepare you for this or are unlikely to kill you or end up being useless.

>it really doesnt matter how much i sleep i always wake up tired and im tired throughout the entire day
From what i get its a typical symptom of ADHD.
Nothing i ever did put a dent into the sleepiness besides these ADHD meds and some music, the latter of which kills my focus, caffeine is completely ineffective for me too. I can drink a cup before bed and sleep just like normal. I don't drink coffee because of the side effects however.
Still very weird. On one hand i can't sit still and need to physically do something and on the other im so tired always.

>have you ever taken sleep pills?
Not any that need prescription. And I'd rather not just to keep my meds intake easily reviewable.

>do you just pick a drawing you like and try to copy the pose?
usually yeah, this is what most do with figure drawing i think. If i want to copy a character or style i chose something that vaguely resembles my target pose as that is good enough in that case.
As for anatomy studies i don't see why i couldn't just use myself. My skinny ass shows all the muscle groups and bones with ease plus i get any pose i want for free and immediately.

>i wish there was more OC
I do too. Half of my motivation is to draw fluffy cuties and the other half is having fun on /bant/ and the like. Nothing of note was produced today however.

i think it has its charm. i dont dislike it, but i would never want to live somewhere where brutalism is prominent. unless its the apocalypse.
>it was me! hello again
hehe hello! i knew i remembered you from somewhere
>don't worry anon
(i will keep worrying probably)
>I'm guessing you don't have any friends?
i do have friends. though most of them are online and, also the kind of loneliness i feel isnt really something friends can fix i fear.
>or maybe it's depression
it is most definitely depression yes but im honestly also just tired of being in my room all the time. ive already wasted enough years of my life and i wanna do something new
>I don't really feel loneliness besides at night
hmm i see. at night it usually gets sooo much worse, since i cant really distract myself with anything. really wish i had someone to hug

>caffeine makes me even more sleepy
How i get it that is just another indicator that there is indeed something with your brain not working with dopamine properly and that stuff.
Could also be however that it has a similar effect to the proper meds and you may be confusing some hint of mellowness for tiredness? My first ritalin dose made it really tempting to go the bed just because of how slowed down everything felt. You get awake and focused but if you have nothing do you just want to rest i guess.

>cause i cant find the motivation to do anything. it might just be depression acting up.
Ha, its hard not be under these circumstances.
100% in the same boat.

>and im guessing the ones you tried didnt do much
Not a lot of success. I think the melatonin spray did make me more sleepy once but that was after i woke up and not while i was falling asleep :^)
>are we ever gonna be able to feel rested i wonder
It is kinda nice to be reminded of bed however. Picrel also.

>would you say its really important to know it properly?
If you are not drawing people or animals then probably not but if you are then it and perspective are must haves. I actually get perspective i think but its easy to forget and not apply. I still need to learn everything in general tho.

damn that thing honestly. my brain is too dumb to make it.
>mellowness for tiredness?
im not sure. i am such a stranger to the feeling that its kind of hard to tell for me when im actually relaxed. most of the time i think im just tired, cuz even though im laying down and doing nothing the thoughts in my brain go at full speed.
>it really tempting to go the bed just because of how slowed down everything felt

kind of, the european equivalent or something like that

i've "been" (it was online) to one. i also directly showed up to some places and handed them my resume myself but alas, no one called back. even though im so nice!!!
>I wish I could sneak in and walk around inside
are there not any museums where you live? some of the old buildings here are open to the public, and actually showcase some curiosities from the medieval era in them. they're very interesting! still havent found a sword anywhere though. its mostly just religious stuff

same here. Surprisingly a very hard and depressing time reset my brain for a couple of days so i had a reference point. But even with it its easy to confuse mellowness for tiredness.
> i think that if i started drawing i'd probably draw mostly landscapes.
desu why not doodle every now and then? Something to do or maybe even a routine is sure to help. Plus while being very beautiful, landscape art is sorta underrated.
>would you like to attend an art school? or take some real lessons or something like that
if my brain wasn't like this or at least treated and if i had seriously started 5 or 10 years ago, maybe. But right now i don't anything about career or anything else in an official capacity. Everything is self-taught like with most people i think.
>i wish i had the money for real guitar lessons

yea thats just messed up. its especially a problem for me because i tend to always answer back to tone whenever someone yells at me, if i think i've done nothing wrong. and nowdays you can get fired for that, no wonder so many people hate working so much. other than the fact that most jobs nowdays are kinda pointless and give no fulfilment whatsoever. and then there's nepotism...

Why it's The Binding of Isaac of course, the only game that I despise more than my country's government and still play every day. Long story short is that I need more items and they're locked behind certain characters beating certain bosses. I tried out Lilith today and it was quite good but also I just had a A+ Bethany run mostly thanks to her active having god-tier synergies. I barely play these 2 so I figured I could give them a try and what do you know, it went well.
