I'm a few months clean now, don't want to go around with fresh cuts on display during the summer

it's still awkward to go around with short sleeves, but the heat doesn't allow anything else

i'm fine, but it was really tough going back to work today... ^^' my vacation was really nice, but we mostly just stayed at our house, relaxed by the pool, read a lot, ate a lot and played a lot of games. we also did some day trips, but not as many. it was way too hot for that. that said, i like the high temperatures and dry heat way more than the humid one i get here back at home. got no issues with 35c plus over there, but 26c here is just such a pain...

all good. i didn't do stretches, either. just some bodyweight exercises and i did swim a bit, so we should be on the same level. maybe let's start again on wednesday? seems like i twisted my ankle a bit while working out yesterday.

tired from work. that's one thing you really don't miss on vacation... and i don't think i've fully arrived yet. i suppose it takes a while to get back on track. other than that, i'm ok.

it took a bit longer (about 15 hours), but it wasn't too bad. the navigation system had to change our route because a big highway was blocked for some reason, so we went from italy to switzerland to germany to france and then back to germany and for some reason our system got completely lost in france, so we had to use the one on my phone for a while. well, at least you see some places you haven't seen before that way.

that it was. switzerland is definitely the most impressive, though. it's insane at what heights some houses were built. though as beautiful as the lakes and mountains are, i don't think i'd be able to live somewhere like that. to much issues with heights... (^_^;) rest of the trip was just a lot of highways, but even those can be quite different from country to country.
i do have to say, i was glad that i was going home and not heading to italy. the opposite direction of the highways were completely jammed.

i increased the weight of my sandbag by 3kg. maybe that was a bit much after not using it for 3 weeks. :/ i'll have to be more carful next time.

second season of dandadan and the summer hikaru died just started :D dandadan is a surprisingly good show and hikaru is my favorite ongoing manga atm, so i was really anxious i wouldn't like the anime, but it's been very nice so far. hikarus choice for an opening is a bit odd, but those ones usually start to grow on me.

for the most part. one of them headed for some "meditation" retreat in bavaria. breath in... breath out... can you feel your wallet become lighter? but hey, if it helps him. just means it'll be another two weeks until i'll see him again.

some surely where, but i think summer breakd started in the state i live in (north rhine-westphalia), the netherlands and belgium, so there's a lot of people from that area that where on the move that day.

i see, i see. i can't recommend you anything specific, but you could ask in a drugstore or pharmacy for scar creams or oils. sometimes they have stuff for stretch marks (usually branded for pregnant women) which might help a bit. honestly, i'm not sure if thaf stuff really does anything on it's own or if it's just time + general skincare that helps, so you could also just try something like a high quality coconut oil or grassfed whipped beef tallow. whatever you decide on, i believe the most important factors will be time and patience.
