yeah but you give everybody you know the "ick", so although it might not be truly illegal, it's culturally illegal. i know a guy who was 18 and got absolutely shit on by everybody for dating a 16 year old (who he went on to marry btw, shows what normalfags know), some crusty 35 year old NEET trying to fuck a 16 year old is going to make life even more awkward for themselves
