People are complex. Directions don't always portray how they actually feel, often times it's the opposite because their defensive of their actual feelings. I know I can be reactive and vindictive when I feel betrayed in some way. There was a time someone told me they didn't understand why they were doing something and I didn't believe them because it felt pretty clear to me not to treat someone in that way if they loved them. It wasn't until recently I figured out why they were that way and why my actions made it worse, what I could of done, how I could do better.
