wellfare office just approved my application for next month, we will survive until I go back to classes and get studentgibs
we made it this summer (although my goal was working and not neeting and getting even more money but no job)
>thought I would get even more but they deducted the days when I start and removed the money fucking mohterfuckers
>got an increased amount because my room mate was leaving but now intend to stay
>could have gotten more last month too but I reported I lived with people so they deducted my cash obviously
could have been worse, all in all

>same I've been neeting for 2 years
that's why I started education again because it's impossible to get any shit job
although over summer I have no student gibs so what am I gonna do, got no job over summer applying for months either

>the uk welfare is very low like 300 a month they pay your rent at least
here it's like 350 if you are talking gbp, a bt more depending on if you live with other people
this is before you add other possibilities like public transport

and obviously you add on rent+utilities cost

I could have gotten like an extra 350+ a month if I really hustled them but they are on your ass on everything so whatever

>but i can easily make 1k a month
effective minimum wage here is like 1400gbp after tax obv so yeah I got around 900gbp that is including rent money + welfarebux total to live on a month which pretty much means you are close to dying, this is way too little, if I worked I would have gotten a minimum 1700 in total atleast this summer a month

>>81850687
but you can go and wage way easier at a shartmart or something

>>81850739
everyone is using the system so if you aren't you are the one getting fucked
considering how they fuck up spending on everything else but they are stingy when you actually are close to dying to survive
trust me this is the worlst place to be at and deal with since they can make whatever decision they want any time
it's really hell

but I don't want to work at a shartmart for pennies and struggle to feed house and clothe myself. I want to be comfy, play vidya and get bux to laze around.

>effective minimum wage here is like 1400gbp
yeah but my mom also gets welfare so around 1k should be enough but ideal more the better I'm going to go back to retail

but you aren't comfy if you have bux since it all disappears on rent utilities then you have 300 bux a month to pay your food for and you have no money left to buy electronics, vidya or do anything, pretty much you might aswell an hero at that point
and working a minimum wage at minimum triples your expendable income after all bills are paid
what am I missing?
or are you living at home with no expenses and some how the wellfare state in usa pays you the exact same amount to do nothing and not based on your actual expenses?
neet life in eu is not comfy you have no money still

>>81850832
well I'm not a bong so I don't know I'm just calculating roughtly what I saw on my papers reported now
which pretty much exactly equates to 300 gbp then add like 50-100 for extra expenses depending on how many people you are for basic living
and then you add utilities+rent+possible other things you have applied for like a public transport (40-80)

>yeah but my mom also gets welfare so around 1k should be enough
my rent is like 460 then electricity 30 then internet 40 also
"Living" on 300-350 is not it
