Maybe they were because I've noticed their behavior cools off after about 6months-1year. They still smile at me if we lock eyes but no more touching, no more blushing and they start ignoring me on some days. I dunno, I'm just too scared to escalate, especially since if they say no, it will be difficult for me to avoid them since we work in the same place (different departments tho).
