Playing in a band must be nice. Now I only need friends. And learn an instrument. And turn the time back 10+ years ago...

i hope you like driving to the rehearsal studio, paying to use it, paying to record an EP, begging for sets, and having to lug gear around... because that's basically all you'll be doing. it helps if you have a richcunt friend to make everything happen

A. Playing an instrument will help you make friends! People might think you're a little weird, but if you play right they might warm up to you a bit!
B. You can still play in a band today, but it's a bit challenging.

Make a studio in your residence or at a friend's. You just need to acquire decent enough equipment. Recording is free if you don't take the easy way. Begging for sets is dependent on the area. If you play at enough open mics, and you play good, local venue owners will take notice. Lugging gear, no way around that.

i kinda wish i started playing guitar whilst still in school. now its incredibly hard to make friends and find people to play with. still, if you wish to learn an instrument it's never too late, you can just do it for fun.
