how do you cope with the empty feeling if you get it?

Fill the void with material pleasures. Of course this doesn't work, but the temporary distraction is still welcome.

Excess and escapism

All things considered I rarely need to cope with emptiness tho, my life is meaningless and I'm okay with that, you just do what you can.
Anyways here's a song 4you OP

Eating, porn, gaming. You probably can't get pleasure in general, at least it's what your reply tell me, so I don't know if this is helpful

You will not like this answer OP, but keep yourself busy and build a stress tolerance. Whether that is through a hobby, education or employment I can't answer that for you. The need for external stimuli is within us all but not always attainable.
Stress is not always a bad thing, you need a little bit of stress to perform at your best and if you refuse to challenge yourself perpetually you won't find any satisfaction in life.
That is the conundrum of the human condition; feeling bad momentarily or rather, struggle, will be beneficiary long-term but in the moment it wont.
Being alive is a cope, it always has been, but how you adapt and struggle at your worst will lessen the blow said lows could give you and also give you brighter highs.

Sure, living lasciviously and with monetary excess and pleasures would feel great, but for how long? That perspective is from someone that's not had that from the beginning so indulging in said pleasures will feel more validating, until it doesn't. People would probably look at your life and circumstances with envy too.
The grass is only as green as you can comprehend so focus on comprehending more and widen your horizon, bed rotting and few social interactions are not it so challenge yourself more.
But that is just my two cents, you do you.

I see, have you ever had a professional or a psychologist evaluate you? From my untrained eye you show signs of schizoid personality disorder. Unless you have some sort of underlying or untreated condition, I have a hard time believing that the feeling of pointlessness you're describing is just there no matter what.
I am assuming but it is highly likely that you just have a low stress tolerance because of inaction but let the professionals do the work, not some random guy on the internet.

i dont think im schizoid, this isnt a feeling i have had my entire life. i sometimes get brief flashes where i dont feel empty, like when im with people i feel really comfortable with.

>i sometimes get brief flashes where i dont feel empty
Aha, eureka!
Surround yourself with said people you feel comfort in but also as I said previously, expand your horizon. To do that you need to talk to more people.
Said people that you are comfortable with didn't just spawn into existence right? You probably got comfortable after meeting them several times and building trust. Start building that trust with new people and find purpose in those friendships.
Make yourself feel seen and heard.

its easier said than done to find other people i feel comfortable with. im a very broken person and i have to be masked and fake with almost everyone. its not a great experience socializing with new people because of it.

better sooner than later i guess. is there something you're looking forward to in the future? maybe thinking about that might fill you with something, possibly hope. if you're anything like me it might just fill you with dread though. also hi.

For me, when the depression gets worse than usual, I just lay in bed (perhaps take a nap), until I have energy to to something.

there is no copes. only empty. trying to fill the emptiness just makes you emptier.
