Anyone else notice that millennials have grown more conservative in recent years?

At least, I (also millennial) have noticed more of a conservative shift in the last half-decade. But not necessarily "conservative" in the politic sense; rather "conservative" in a cultural or general way. Like the kind people fall into when they get older.

Where, for example, they're more sceptical of new things in favour of what they grew up with. Or personal responsibility become more of a pressing manner (while also harbouring disdain for those who don't follow it). Or an increased preference for order and stability than experimenting with change or new routines. Or gradual contempt for younger generations similar to how older generations looked at us when we were young.

Basically the kind of conservative temperament that creep up on you with age. Nothing big, but it's still depressing for a variety of (obvious) reasons.

no clue about millennials, am not one, but i think its just everyone. people are tired of being told what to think and say to not offend anyone. the T in the lbgt is really fucking annoying, it should have stayed as a weird fetish and not been validated to most people. i just hope it continues being less and less acceptable and they all eventually kill themselfs

I think people just realize the left wing promises of free stuff always come with a pricetag. There's no such thing as a free lunch

we're never getting any serious economic/labor reforms in this country as long as republicans can point out trannies to potential voters and go "this is the other side" - it's an albatross around the neck.

It's known that people get more conservative as they get older.
Me, I was always a Hitlerite.

No, I strongly dislike conservative ideology and have from a young age. Watching most of them become bootlicking authoritarians in recent years has only reinforced everything I think about them
