You're still the exact same person you always were, the only thing that's changed is how you identify. Like what's the benefit? What does being non-binary effect? Why can't you just identify as a man or woman and just continue living however you feel like? Like growing up for me, the messaging was always about breaking down gender roles. Men can act however they want and women can act however they want. But it seems like the attitude has shifted back towards reinforcing gender roles. It's just done slightly differently than it was in the past. Just kind of weird to me.
