High masking autistic
Is anyone else a high masking autistic?

How do you deal with narcissistic/sociopath coworkers and just in general?

For the non high masking autistics, HMAs are autistic people who have learned to hide it well enough they can pass for mostly normal. and a side effect of learning social skills artificially, in the same way someone would learn a normal skill, is that we can spot sociopathic type people instantly. We can recognize the artificiality of their interactions right away. We also know when someone is manipulating us, but often have to be tactful in letting them do it to prevent conflict.

Gray rock, give them nothing. These people feed on emotion and when you don't give it to them they move on. If particularly stubborn hit them with the autistic info dump about your niche interest and watch them crumble into dust. It helps if you also have somewhat of an ego and can be assertive about it.

Relax bro I just want the place to stay open, they're paying me same as you. We are on the same side in that sense so just roll with it and keep it professional. Don't get psyopped but so long as they're not fucking off from their work, let it go.

I just don't, it's not worth it and it never will be. Once you're in a sociopath's crosshairs, your life will be miserable. Let them do what they're going to do, they will give up super fast if you don't give in.

This one guy would make snide ass fucking remarks to my face, I just nodded and kept talking like he said nothing. Once he couldn't get a reaction from me he moved on. They're very predictable but very relentless if you aren't careful. Never give them what they want.

I litterally dont care.
It doesnt affect me in the slightest.
I do my job and thats it, as long as they do theirs and dont make mine more difficult.

This wouldn't have helped in my case where I had to out-assert the retard in what's important without ever being a bitch about it.
