I hear normies use this excuse for shitty behaviour all the time like it's supposed to be a get out of jail free card, but I've gotten very drunk before, sure your motor functions get a lot worse but it's not like you can't control what you do.
I've gotten so drunk I could barely walk and I was throwing up all over the place, I could still remember everything that happened that night and I was in complete control of my actions still.
So is this real for some people or is this a normalfag ruse?

I generally just make social faux pas. It's easier to have a slip of the tongue when you're hammered. That is what most people excuse.
I find it reasonable to presume that for some people it doesn't stop at words, but extends to actions.

not particular to normalfags but some people do a lot of self-censoring depending on how unhinged their internal self is. apply excessive amounts of alcohol and you lose the ability to do that. personally i stopped drinking at all because i have too much pent up anger and god knows what else which turns me into an absolutely unhinged psychopath if i get too drunk

I have a lot of pent up anger stuff too but it never comes out when I'm drunk or anything, if anything it's the opposite, I feel a little more inclined to be friendly and confidently open.

no, people just say they "lost control" and "weren't aware" to excuse whatever they consciously chose to do while drunk

you've never gotten drunk enough to black out and fail to recall certain periods of time the next day? i have, although i've not done anything i wouldn't really do when buzzed or even sober. it's sort of an intimidating thing. don't do it anymore at all. hey, some people just can't handle their shit. alcohol will turn em mean or fucked up.

well like i said everyone's experiences with any substance including alcohol are different, but plenty of people black the fuck out and act like real shitcunts. people that are good otherwise, too. i don't really think its a normie or not-normie thing. just dice-rolls how one handles their shit. i mean hey, when i've blacked out i haven't done fucked up shit at all, nor would i even think about using being terribly fucked up as an excuse for doing fucked up shit. maybe a bit of an explanation.

the real thing is some people can't handle their shit and are in fact not really in control of their actions. the ruse is that they made the choice to get so terribly fucked up (probably or hopefully) knowing that they are liable to do some fucked up shit, so using it as an excuse is childish or worse.

also interesting that you black out, but retain memories after. not just flashes or ideas, but full narrative memory? i wouldn't say i've blacked out unless i can't remember dogshit for a certain period the next day or there after.

Yes, I get very drunk and my behavior and emotions get extremely out of control, I have no inhibition and just do whatever I feel like doing in the moment.

I have to be extremely drunk, like blackout or just before blackout territory to be truly out of control, but even then I don't go wild. My default state when I'm that drunk is to just chill out. I've got a really sharp tongue though and if someone bothers me I can be pretty mean just out of reflex.
I'm mostly the loving kind of drunk though. I usually just end up messaging my frens and telling them how much I care about them.
