I'm jealous. 29 here and my interest in pokemon has been waning for years. Haven't played SV, and even when replaying my favorites like Platinum or Emerald I stop within an hour or so.
The girls are still nice to coom to though.

I wish it had more challenge besides self-imposed ones. I stopped in Gen 7 because I found it insulting that they put weaknesses and resistances for each attack on the battle screen. Good god, they must think the players are actually retarded.

I'm only 26 but same anon. I plan to be playing pokemon even when I'm 80 and in a nursing home. I'm hoping I one day get to have kids and pass on my love of pokemon to them.

there's nothing wrong with that. Lots of people grew up with it and still play to this day. videogames are the new normal and they have been for a long time from candy crush to milsims
