idk if it is just me, but i feel like every internet community has slowly become some sort of retarded post-ironic circlejerk or some shit. it just feels so boring. i miss how things were prior to 2020

The anime fan community was way better when people were bullied for liking it - the social stigma served as a filter, which kept normiegroids out.
Now that normalfags got their grubby hands on anime, fandoms are filled with moralfaggot crusades over tropes fundamental to anime and bullying people who don't conform.
