I never met my parents so I don't really know what to say. I think from the horror stories I hear of shitty and abusive mothers I'm probably better off.

I know it sounds made up, but man, I think it was the ONLY time in her life that she actually admitted she was in the wrong for anything, and it was only because she completely lost her shit about basically nothing. It was kind of a growing moment for her.
