What you call a "moral tier" is simply various levels of control over the lord-bondsmen dialectic. Morality in a strict sense isn't real; it is a reflection of the overall historical and material conditions in one's society. one of the prevailing philosophical ideas of our time is that morality is subjective. To goblins and golems it is. But there is a real, objective morality. It's just that it's unspoken because it will always be self evident to the divines. language is a very pliable thing and you can always twist it and poke holes in it. i'd laugh in your face if you told me to write down some sort of real morality because not only would it instantly be twisted by someone but it'd be a redundancy since anybody who is pure of heart would not need it. that kind of segways into the idea of if you can actually teach somoone to be better which i will expand upon in the CONT.

technically. You can probably teach a goblin into golem or even human tier. But the thing is language will only take you so far, which is not far enough. After some point it is intuitive, spiritual, in which case you are a higher being in a human body.

if this is wrong, however. And the tiers are fixed as beings and can't be changed. then true morality cannot be taught no matter what. But i'm not sure. i personally think golem and goblin are subhumans who can't be changed, maybe trained like a dog but not changed. But humans for sure have the potential to rise up to noble if they put their mind to it. and maybe even beyond.
