Why are there so many old white woman characters in movies and TV shows? It is fucking gross having to see all these hags with their wrinkles everywhere.

Because old white women are the ones mainly watching tv these days anon. My mom and aunt are always telling me about some new show or movie they added to Netflix. Meanwhile young men and women only watch either anime or the few shows that are super popular enough to get hype.

Maybe that is it, but its just weird how so many TV shows have these really old haggard looking women in them. Where are the young beautiful people?
It feels like a feminist plot to fight back against the ancient truth that old women are invisible to society.

I told you already beautiful young people are watching tiktok youtube or twitch because their attention spans for mush. And when they do watch tv shows its only the stuff that gets tons of hype like Game of Thrones or White Lotus. Meanwhile old ladies who have no social media aside from facebook spend their time watching everything on tv whether its super popular or not. The reason theres a lot of old ladies in tv shows is because thats who the audience is now. I dont think its a feminist plot so much as product and demand. If its old bints who are the ones watching the shows theyll probably make more shows to appeal to them.
The only way youre going to change this is by convincing zoomers and younger millennials to switch from being social media and internet freetime focused to watching television again which good luck.
