the point of a superhero story is to channel a higher power/god and the moral code of someone closer to god(s). you're not intended to look at the superhero as an actual person. your logic is retarded anyway because any single person with supernatural powers would by definition act as their own government and operate at a much higher level of trade and law enforcement, depending on the scale of their power and how it compares to other regional/national governments.
