After 5 years on the platform, I deleted Discord. Nothing but fake ass friends and attention whoring on there.
Most of the discussions that take place on there are a waste of time. Foids ruin every server they join by engineering consensus through their vocal group of orbiters.

i used it for years and eventually grew out of it. generally if someone has to "quit" something, they'll likely be back. any time i "quit" i came back. but eventually i slowly lost any drive to use the site. it became impractical as i was too busy and slowly lost its appeal as i became less and less active on it. if you ever are to overcome this, that is how it will happen.

I forgot I use discord "wrong" been on it for seven years now and all I've really used it for is a private hub for my friend group.
Never saw the the appeal to join large public servers full of strangers, always seemed like it was weirdos with big but fragile egos that were active on them.

Well shit, I've been meaning to start a Discord account for years but never got around to it. Everyone here seems to have one, but I was never really sure what I'd use it for. After reading through this thread I guess I didn't miss much.
