I guess you could say someone has narcissistic traits in your opinion, here. Theodore Millon called himself a positive narcissist. This is not always a negative trait. If someone is devoid of self-interest in some contexts it may make it difficult to survive. I'm basically disagreeing with how you look at things though which I don't know if that's really your personally ideal outcome with this

I never understood why narcissists/psychopaths say their sadistic behaviors are due to "Lack of empathy". I lack empathy as well but I have zero desire to hurt other people or take advantage of them.

I would prefer you only refer to me as handsome, it keeps my ego intact! Really though, I have the capacity to empathize.. but why would I need to? I don't like to waste time thinking about, or doing things for other people unless they're part of my network. I have no want for my machinations to be harmful to anyone. I want to just live unmolested by the rabble, like a wizard in their tower. Not sure why more narcissists haven't figured this approach out, but hope this helps!
