Anyone notice how American cops will literally punch you in the face for sitting in your car. What causes this behavior? I thought cops were supposed to protect people

What causes the behavior for joggers to not just comply with the police in the first place? Watch the full video and you'll see he was not being cooperative with the officer when he was being asked for his drivers license and then was refusing to step out of the vehicle after being given several lawful orders and chances to get out on his own. Oh and it turns out he was driving with a suspend license. Imagine that!

She took a smoke break and then started shooting again too kek. The minimal physical force to put her on the ground stood out to me, but more importantly, they couldn't have known that she didn't have another weapon on her, yet they took the risk of getting close to her instead of shooting her or beating the shit out of her.

Well american cops are even less trained then other cops plus they have the cope of being "scared for my life cause guns", murica is also very rural in most places so they probably feel more confident being violent with less witnesses around, that being said cops are like this everywhere, I'm euro and just recently I saw a cop smash some drunk guy back of the head first onto concrete for being slightly difficult, then a bunch of people from the pub stood around them and watched them very dissaprovingly so he stopped beating the guy and they just put him in the back of the car and rode back with him.
But yeah 99% of cops are lazy violent pieces of trash just looking for a reason to fuck somebody up.

A combination of power tripping and being scared shitless because the person they've pulled over might have a gun so their work causes severe anxiety issues and PTSD over time.

I'm Eastern European and it's not rare to talk like neighbors/acquaintances with the police over here, because guns aren't common, and the ones that are are usually double barrel hunting rifles that are kinda hard to hide so nobody's worried generally, and so the police don't really expect to get killed when they routinely pull people over.

When I was working two jobs trying to claw my way out of poverty, cops would pull me over for dim license plate light and straight up lie about smelling alcohol or weed and try really, really, really hard to find a reason to take me to jail and ruin my life. Cops aren't the good guys, and they represent the courts and your elected officials. Whenever I hear minorities complain about their treatment by the police I tend to believe them due to my personal experience.
