Why are politicians so against women having the right to bodily autonomy?
Im sick of my period because i just find it gross and painful. However i can't just "opt out" of having a cycle. It's not possible to get an elective hysterectomy (which is a uterus removal) unless i tell the doctors that im a trans man, and i have to provide proof of this claim through therapist letters, HRT etc.
I hate this.
Are these politicans afraid that women will just let the entire human race die if it was too easy to opt out of having a period?

The bigger question is why is freedom so unpopular? Everyone should have full control and ownership over their own body, but this is always considered very controversial. Why? This should just be a fundamental natural right.

You having a period is something natural. It isn't gross, and you're wrong to feel ashamed to have them.
Sometimes I get headaches, but I shouldn't be allowed to walk into a doctor's office and request to be decapitated to fix my issue.

You didn't answer my question. Why should someone not have absolute say over what happens to their own body? If I want my arms and legs amputated for no particular reason, why can't I have that done? Why are there laws preventing me from doing things to myself? It doesn't hurt anyone other than myself, it doesn't pose a danger to anyone else. So why not? Moving to another country (which also doesn't allow this freedom) isn't an answer to "why is a fundamental freedom so controversial?" And note, I did not say "allow doctors to encourage suicide". That's a completely different thing from what I'm saying.

I agree, there shouldnt be any of my taxes going into womans health stuff either because i should have full control and owner ship over my money and i hate woman and want them to suffer because itd make me feel better.
