I can't look down on attention whores or people earnestly asking for help. It takes a lot of humility and courage to put yourself out there. I am just too afraid of mean responses to even try

being suicidal is INSANELY stigmatized. If people hear you are they WILL lock you away in a hospital, make you take happy pills, talk to some retarded shrink, or worse. You have to speak in code. Even inthe company of people you "trust".
