skinny people don't really eat. their body coasts off energy. they eat about 1200 - 1500 calories a day with random points where they forget to eat or are too lazy to eat.

they will never know what its like to fend off the hungry beast inside that threatens to slowly consume us every day. waiting for us to slack so it can roar back up and eat 7000 calories a day like it's nothing.

if you are born a hungry person, whether its genetics or fucked up neurons or whatever it is that gives you a big appetite. In the world we currently live in. It's a death sentence. you need so much competence to survive as a person whos hungry all the time. You need a balanced diet, hundreds and hundreds of dollars to maintain that diet. and 3 hours of cardio daily for good measure. all while people are offering you food. so much can go wrong and make you gain 5 pounds in like 2 weeks.

The more you eat, the hungrier you will feel as your body adjusts to your normal eating habits.
If you go on a diet you will stop feeling hungry all the time if you're capable of sticking to it for more than 2 hours.

if you put like 2 - 4 years in the gym you can get muscular enough where you look slim but can get away with eating 3300 calories a day. i'm in the transition from fat to skinny. i'm already 38 pounds down but money ran out, no flow of good food, no plan, nothing. and i've gained back 3 pounds.

and my 'good food' isn't even some expensive shit like a 10$ box of 5 protein bars. its just tomatoes, turkey bacon, diet soda (fuck you, it works), eggs, rice and basic stuff like that. i'm not buying 60$ barrels of protein powder and 6 90$ supplements.

it's hard getting in shape as a NEET

i actually did a lot of mathematical equations and determined that i did not go beyond 175 pounds in my public school years because my bum ass father rarely gave me any lunch money. and because school takes up like 3/4ths of your day i didn't even have time to eat that much at home.

Former fat fuck here.

Run. Quite literally. Get into distance running, maybe even just 5 miles a day in the morning.

Eat at maintenance, especially if you struggle with dieting. Lift weights. Cardio.

5'1 F. My maintenance is ~1400 calories but I'll include my daily running, bringing me to 2200 calories a day. Just start moving.

By the way it's all cope when you're at the beginning of losing weight and struggling. Eventually you'll find your way into a rhythym.

Spam black coffee if you need to. It's cheap and a good appetite suppressant.

Angus Barbieri.

Heavily obese man that fasted for ~380 days straight. He was under medical supervision, though.

Meanwhile I eat 1500 calories a day and I'm still 120kg.
>Hungry beast
I'm autistic with alexithymia, I have literally never felt hunger, I have gone weeks without eating because I just forgot to. I eat for the taste and because I'm told I need to do it regularly for my metabolism, not to satisfy some vague emotion.

it's different for everybody. it really is. i lost the 38 pounds by dieting, walking 8 miles a day and lifting.

my 'plan' is changing every day as my body requires different periods of rest, extra or less food. it's insane. but i've found my way. i just need the funding for it.

>Pounds
I'm from a nice place to live, anon, we use kilograms. I don't even know what a pound is.

My understanding is my eating habits in the past (going weeks without eating because I don't feel hunger and forgot to eat) have had an adverse effect on my metabolism. My body's gotten used to putting anything it gets into long-term storage because it doesn't know when it's going to get another meal, rather than burning it immediately. Most of what I eat goes straight to fat because I starved myself by accident for a couple years.

>That fat

120kg isn't exactly fat. Maybe you're confusing between kg and whatever unit you use. I've got a gut, that's about it. If you google 120kg man I probably look better than most the pics because I'm a big, broad-shouldered dude.

>Do you log what you eat
I mostly just keep a running calorie count. I tried logging it in apps for a while. But I don't really eat much. I'm trying to have cereal in the morning, and the rest of what I eat is steak and salad.

I got fat when I was on meds and fasting was a bitch but it's possible. I remember I was pouring paint on food before throwing it away. Back to normal size now, thank god.

Its ok to feel hungry anon.
Its ok to stop eating even when theres room left in your stomach.
Fat people all treat food like a drug, get a better drug fatty, food is for nourishment not pleasure. Do some cocaine, smoke some weed, jack your dick till its sore, anything but piling on the little debbies.

>Run. Quite literally. Get into distance running, maybe even just 5 miles a day in the morning
Bad advice. Fat people are gonna destroy their joints by running and even possible threat of cardiovascular diseases. You could be perceived more sane if offered cycling but running? Bad bad advice.

Eat less. This is alpha and omega.

skinny person here
i was put on steroids once because of illness and it gave me a huge appetite, i gained 30 lbs rapidly and realized i was gaining too much weight, i would walk into the kitchen and look in the pantry and fight the hungry beast to not grab something, it was indeed difficult but i managed to do it
now, as a skinny person who has never even been 'overweight', i have stretch marks on my thighs because of that rapid weight gain

Protip: be too poor to afford enough food to get fat, I just eat 8 eggs, steamed broccoli and cauliflower in extra virgin olive oil, Mediterranean style lentil soup, tuna, oatmeal, sunflower seeds and milk every day, hits most of my nutritional requirements and pretty much caps out my $300 a month food budget
