The Church does not believe in curses, especially not generational ones. Curses come from syncretism which the Church implicitly allows but does not accept as part of its world view. Whatever your local native religion was pre-Catholicism had the idea of curses, the people the Church sent to convert you people just incorporated it to make the transition easier.
