its nightmarish, women have sick and twisted views of the world, personal accountability and entitlement, splitting rent with one is basically just subsidizing her while mentally to her the space is entirely hers

i've lived with a female friend. in fact i've dated a woman who shared a flat with a friend (they hated each other very quickly, and had never dated/shagged for real for real).

there's an episode of Only Fools and Horses where they view it as suspicious a woman is living with a man, think he's using her for sex, until it turns out he's gay. probably weird for the 90s, perfectly normal nowadays. picrel, same shit.
