i've lived with a female friend. in fact i've dated a woman who shared a flat with a friend (they hated each other very quickly, and had never dated/shagged for real for real).
there's an episode of Only Fools and Horses where they view it as suspicious a woman is living with a man, think he's using her for sex, until it turns out he's gay. probably weird for the 90s, perfectly normal nowadays. picrel, same shit.
