Time will past and I know she'll just mean nothing to me one day. But that honestly isn't that bad, because at least I can said I tried. I don't want to be this numb anymore and at least I tried. And I now know that I can stop wondering about what could have been because it never was.

If she was giving you "playful comments, eye contact, flirty gestures, etc." then why didn't you say "Hey, you want to go out for a drink /check out this restaraunt /catch this movie /go for a coffee after work /go dancing at a club /join my Dungeons & Dragons party /pretty much anything?

Why did you ignore her when she was right in front of your face flirting with you and then a week later you type "Sup?" on her Instagram or whatever the fuck?

I did sort of hint that I'm free one time and her face dropped from a big smile and told me about a specific thing she had to do and gave me a flirty wave and smile while she walked away. I wouldn't see her again for awhile and I don't know when I'll see her again. Could be months honestly.

Yeah, she probably was. Wish she didn't have to be so weirdly friendly. Chatted with her a few times and talked about summer plans and she never mentioned a boyfriend. Well, now at least I know she was just being polite.
