Atomic facts are when entities play roles in an atomic fact type.
"Men are mortal" is a unary fact type, and "The man named Socrates is mortal" is an atomic fact that satisfies the type by referencing a man entity.

Actually, the definition in the OP image is wrong and bad. An atomic fact can reference ANY NUMBER of entities. I used a unary for simplicity, but an atomic fact can be something like "Donald Trump denied involvement with Jeffery Epstein yesterday at the White House in order to protect his reputation." This is a quinary atomic fact that provides who, what, when, where and why entities.
