Yeah I get that but I'm looking for something more like a pseudo-relationship? We both just kind of act it out without really meaning it. We call each other honey and sweetie and do all the normal cutesy flirting and getting to know each other, asking about each others' day, but it's all fake. None of it is real and the unspoken agreement is that either of us can leave at any time for any reason and we just stick around until it's not convenient to anymore. I have sort of done this with men before, but it never really feels right. Women have a different way of communicating and men have a hard time emulating that. Usually I look for a BPD woman who wants a disposable man, but as I get older I have less and less energy available to play pretend with.
