I've thought about joining a trade like plumbing/ sparky/hvac. I'm not scared of hard work but I don't know if I could ever have the confidence to go into someone's house/business, find the problem and then create and implement a solution.

Op here to answer the thread question. I work at a pet crematory, a pretty niche blue collar job. Lots of heavy lifting, and very dirty with all the grime and blood involved.

I don't know how these people do it, I've been working in maintenance in a factory for almost a year now and also do side job and people houses with a coworker for extra money.
I literally can't do shit on my own and they have to tell me everything this shit is just too hard

Yeah same here, I am quite introverted, so directly going into someone's home would be out of my comfort zone for sure.

I work in landscaping. Most of my time is spent trimming hedges and trees.

I've been doing residential HVAC install for almost two years now. I wouldn't recommend it.

I build shipping crates. Seems like a bit of a dead end, but the money's all right for now.

>Had a summer job at a famous toast making place right on the beach.
>We've had a lot of French and American customers (fug American turists).
>It was a back-breaking job restocking the fridge and moving boxes of meat and bread around. >Also had to remember faces and work fast (the place will get crazy busy).
>served a lot of bikini babes.
>At the end of the week, the boss will let us get a beer from the fridge and we'll shoot the shit for an hour after work.
>Once, a cute American girl asked me to steal a uniform shirt for her, and I told her to fuck off.
Also worked at my grandpa's delivery compeny delivering car-parts which was also back breaking and oily but I ended up buff and tan from it.
Today I'm an out of shape, pale neet on neetbux. Can't go back to working, don't miss it.

I work in the box mines at UPS. I'm thinking about quitting. It seems they don't really want me there. They keep sending me home because there's not enough work. I did like 10 hours last week. But it takes a lot of energy out of me anyway, which might make a second job harder.

Do all the work, get paid shit, and go home to zero pussy while your coworkers make fun of you everyday. Not worth it working on my exit strategy.

This is how it is if you're a robot. They want to surround themselves with normals that drink and beat their wives.

You are right that I don't fit in, and I keep needing help for heavy stuff, but mostly co-workers are nice. It's the bosses than don't want me there for monetary reasons. the fortune 500 company saves $100-$200 a week sending me home. It's demoralizing. I can join the union but then I'm still only guaranteed 17.5hrs a week.

The only way I got this as a robot is because they don't require interviews. I wish there were more jobs like that.
