The only reason I ever got a job is because my sister. I applied myself at the place she worked, and they literally just strung me along for weeks saying they would eventually call. Apparently the whole time they knew they couldn't hire me because the manager didnt want any more people in that department. Then my sister recommended me for her department, and I got hired literally the next day. It's fucking wild how the recommendation of a woman is basically a golden ticket to anything.
