Science thread
I'm a gollege student in Finland and currently trying to build two things:

1. Robotic hand that works using AI. Designed for people who have lost their hand. The AI monitors your electrical nerve signals and tries to guess which finger you wanted to move. Sure, it's a guessing game, but the probability of the AI getting it right is about 99.99% so does it really matter?

2. Time machine or reverse entropy machine using AI. I'm building a device that monitors particle absorptions and emissions on an atomic level. If it detects an atom absorbing a quantum packet of energy of size x, it will make the atom spit out a packet of energy of the same size. Once again I'm using a trained AI to detect these events and guess what to do next. I've already succeeded in rebuilding a small piece of graphite using this method. Basically, in the future my machine can rebuild your worn out shoes to be brand new again. I call it time machine because from your shoe's perspective it travelled back in tyme.

Plausible, but with a small chance of ripping your dick to shreds during masturbation.

Wouldnt a smarter solution to 1) just be attaching the tendons to a siliconmechanical component that detects when theyre pulled on

AI is supposed to be a tool to assist you not a tool to think for you fucking moron. Can't wait for the classes get some actual difficulty. Can't wait to see you bitching how you turned in soke work the AI shat out and someone catches you on it like anon is doing now. Oh that thread will be funny as fuck.

Good enough project, but you're not going to build anything actually useful by the sheer complexity involved both in nerve monitoring and designing a high DOF functional hand.
>reverse entropy machine using AI
