I don't feel
bad about being the way I am because I can't really control it. Although on the outside it may seem as if I'm lazy, narrow-minded and selfish, the opposite is true.
I feel awful for my family but it is not my fault that they experience this pain and disappointment. I love them either way and appreciate what they've done for me.

You need to accept that you are responsible for your actions, and that although there may be external influences on you and your personality, it is ultimately for you to make sure that you're the best version of yourself that you can be.

I'm not saying be a do-gooder that constantly looks to please people, but you should look to take responsibility for the way you are and look to change into a somewhat decent person.

Part of this is being principled, and working hard - regardless of whether anyone is impressed by it, this is partly what being a man is.

For now. Change is difficult but I suppose >>82063945 makes a good point and I must try something over nothing eventually.

I have a girl who's obsessed with me and wants to fly down to meet me. I dunno how to feel about it but I hope it goes well.
