They like the feeling of giving up control but in a safe environment. Dominance is about a really good act essentially. You can't just attack someone in the name of sexy.

Cant speak for all women but I've always felt the most loved with my current partner because he does this. Its not in a hateful way at all, but he sees women almost like a pet. Again not in a hateful or 'less than' way, but rather something to be taken care of and cherished.

Never thought I would like it until I noticed the difference. We never argue, only ever small bickers over petty things which get resolved in a few minutes, we never get bored of each other, we both respect each other and boundaries a fuck ton.
