the average human is a piece of shit that's a drain to interact with, and working every day is a direct stab to my soul that worsens my overall mental health a little bit every day. i can't come up with a single reason that makes being alive worth it

beauty. one and only thing. i'm not religious but i think the human experience is a "blessing" and if you stop to ruminate on how incredible it is that you're even thinking, or take a moment to observe nature, architecture, artwork. it's hard to take that for granted. I get suicidal very often but we have a little bit of time in the world to contribute more beauty to it, and if everyone did that it wouldn't be so hard later down the line. I'll probably end up killing myself when I'm 50 or so but I have a long time before then

This. I often stop and look at or think about the natural world around me. Rainbows, ant colonies, plants in my garden, the sun, it's just incredible how everything we take for granted requires so many minute but also grand functions to even exist. It makes it hard for me to care about the majority of people's problems, for a moment everything in the world feels so petty and meaningless compared to the might of nature.

Video games. I still have so much fun playing video games and there are so many old gamea I haven't played but are waiting to be experienced. Just beat Ghost Trick: Phantom Detective and had a blast with its murder-mystery plot. I hate my job but I lookward to the weekend where I get some time to play games
