The intent isnt to fight consumerism, its actually a ploy to further indulge in it. If they claim some anti-consumerist message, its only a veil to attract a wider audience while further supporting their own brand. The intent is to get clicks, get a larger following, and make more money. More money means more buying shit.

Man, I love the men of my generation. We will become the most environmental and anti-consumerist of all time to the point that we will make a country fully communist/fascist again somewhere once we are of age.
However, the cunts of our generation continue buying chink bullshit and do the opposite of what we men do, i.e., support capitalism by engaging with it and believing money is the source of all happiness, especially their job.
