it's been 4 days since ive lost my cat. i dont know if he will survive or what happened to him. the longest he went missing was 3 days and he made it back. this time i went looking for him and have found nothing. i really hope he hasn't died. ive been crying like a faggot for 3 days straight over him. he was so polite and well mannered. i loved that little guy so much, i just wish i hugged him or pet him one last time.
i dont want another cat, i just want him again. my one and only cat.
thanks for reading.

Cats don't belong in the nature
Anonymous No.82072887
Not good to let your cat wander around outside anon, they can get attacked by a large bird or animal or even hit by a car or something. Plus it is bad for the environment since they hunt birds

I love cats as well so let this be a painful lesson to you

sorry to hear about your cat

how old was it

when cats are up there in age, they tend to runaway to find a place to quietly passaway

>>82072871
you mean domesticated cats

all other cats live out in the wild

my cat went missing and somebody found him but said he would only give him back if I had sex with him

I rejected him and he decapitated my cat and mailed me photos, I pretended the photos hadn't come and "gave in" so my brother could jump him, but my brother actually ended up killing him

my life was a mess after that, my brother is still in jail too

If he comes back get him a (safety, as in, it will detach instead of strangling the cat to death) collar with a thingy where you can put an airtag or galaxy smarttag. This will allow you to track him, unless you live in the middle of nowhere.

My childhood friend cat is 17 and always gone all summer maybe returning two or three times. I have no fucking clue where he is going but I suspect his place of birth (some farm 10km away) but they don't recall seeing him either. I've just came to terms with that someday he probably won't return he's had a good free and long life. Wish you the best

Was he old? Cats can sense when they will die so they go away.

you let the cat outside because it gives you those sad doe eyes and quiet meowing, BEGGING to go play outside. So you feel bad and let it outside, then it has such a fun time and comes back with lizard gifts to thank you for letting it outside that you do it again. And 99.99% of the time the cat is fine and happy and that makes you happy until WHAM something goes wrong.

I believe cats are meant to be outside. Keeping them indoors seems like some slow torture. They just stare outside all day and yearn to be free. My parents had an outdoor cat that went on adventures every day and would come back for some food and water if she didn't catch anything. Sometimes she would bring us her kills in thanks. That just feels right to me.

I left my blinds open one night and two mean outdoor nigger cats were banging on my screen door trying to fight my cat who stares out all the time at 3am I thought somebody was trying to break in, since then I always keep the blinds fucking closed.
Funnily enough I saw one of the strays that morning near my door when I left and thought to myself I wonder if they were aware I had cats in my apartment

If you have a cat that is stuck indoors during it's formative years and then suddenly you start letting it out later in life to become an inside/outside cat, that cat will end up dead in no time at all.

A kitten will explore very slowly, and retreat to safety at the first sign of trouble, it will observe and learn that the streets are full of cars, dogs, large birds, asshole humans etc and adapt to become a street ninja that is a pro at avoiding all danger, it will slowly map out the neighborhood and surrounding areas until it is extremely proficient at avoiding all forms of danger.

But if you suddenly let your retarded, stunted indoor cat that lived a life of comfort with zero danger outside it will just run off like a fucking moron onto the road and get hit by the first car it comes across or eaten by a dog or get lost because it ran to far without knowing where the fuck it was even going in the first place or how to get home, the sudden sensory overload alone will ensure the cat freaks out and ends up dead to something stupid.

If you want an outdoor cat, it needs to learn the outdoors from birth, if your cat is no longer a kitten and you let it outside, you're going to end up with a dead cat, this happens without fail, every, single time.
