Getting touched by someone always feels overwhelming and makes me cry because I'm not used to it. I just buzz my head myself now.

This was me throughout my 20s
>be too anxious to go to barbershop and get haircut

Last time i got a haircut i had a overgrown mophead and i was also quite anxious about getting it cut.
Luckily i found someone who actually liked their job and enjoyed cutting all that hair.
Guy didnt say a work he was locked in. Turns out barbers spend half their day giving trims to bald cunts.

A pair of clippers costs about 100 dollars. You can cut your own hair it's really easy. Let it grow to be a complete mess and then when you cut it, no matter how terrible, it will be an improvement. I've been cutting my own for 4 years now and I don't mind it looking a little goofy since it's free and I can do it when I feel like doing it. If I took my time I would do a good job but I speed through it and have fun because who really cares. Buy some clippers and give it a go.

Reading through this thread I'm glad I was never so anxious as to be scared of getting a haircut. But the prices have gone up so high over the years.

I've gone to a hairdresser only once or twice before on my own, every other time my mom or myself has cut it. I'm fucked in the head or something. I get stressed out at the thought of having to go out in public
