If my brain is just going to die and forget everything why do I remember this moment right now? Why dont i wake up tomorrow and randomly 3-10-20 years have past theres no way i actually remember making this specific post why do I remember it now

Because it is happening now. You are currently experiencing the effects of making the post. What you experience isn't determined by some "finished" future state you will reach. Haven't you ever talked to someone who is blacked out but can still have a conversation with you?

When you dream your brain separates the worthless memories from the ones worth keeping
Not dreaming means you remember everything or nothing equally, no matter how stupid and mundane or important
