Bojack do bad things to people. Bad things happen to Bojack. Bojack has a tiny bit of self reflection but ultimately nothing is resolved at the end of every episode.

The cat is the best character but ultimately every character has some doom flaw to them.

it's funny occasionally and has MOMENTS but the overarching story is so bad. I like the Hollyhock plotline that's about it. it has a midwit view on depression, if you're actually mentally ill in any form it'll probably make you mad because it super doesn't get it

I wouldn't trust anyone who is into bojak, especially not in current year. when it was part of pop culture I could forgive a bitch, but not now.

I liked it, honestly it was enjoyable and entertaining but I don't think it had a good plot. It was more like a philosophical commentary on being a celebrity.

I really wish they would make a spinoff though. Or at least something in that universe at least that isn't related to Bojack.

Lmao. I tried to get mine to watch House. Unfortunately for me, it was the episode where the father sleeps with his daughter who turned out to be a man. She thought it was too much and never tried to watch it again and forced me to watch How I Met Your Mother from then on.

Apparently they made the change because Harvey Weinstein said to the producers that he related to Bojack. So they made the show into a therapy session for him. It's kinda insufferable to watch a TV show to get preached at.

It's more that they never knew what to do with the supporting cast and as Bojack's life events that made him who he is and le sad self destruction etc kept piling on the worldbuilding suffered.
