No. I took shrooms and realized that all organisms on earth are all just one evolving parasite that eventually gained consciousness and started to observe itself. We are the universe observing itself.

The shrooms also made me realize that the big bang was also bullshit, and that we must be in an infinite cycle, meaning that the end of our universe will just be the beginning of the next one. This is Roger Penrose's cyclic universe theory.

Yes, honestly? Because of the existence of the paranormal. I've had encounters with ghosts, and online exists millions upon millions of pieces of evidence of them, be it video or written account. You could dismiss all these as fabrication, but I do not think all of them and my own encounters were all the result of some far fetched coincidence. I wanted to explain this a little better. The average universe wouldn't have earth or humanity, but our conciousness might take form elsewhere, as a different race on a different planet in a different galaxy. Remember, in my theory we are just the universe observing itself. But eventually, after an insane amount of big bangs and big crunches, we will be in this exact same conversation again.

There's too much order in the universe, and sentience itself is an infinitessimal likelihood. Therefore, a creator only makes sense.

What creator? Ones that are human-like, with our pettiness and foibles don't make much sense. Why should they come together to create when they are constantly bickering with one another? So probably not the Pagans.

What about a God that created us to be little image bearers, carrying a spark of the divine (sentience)? That makes more sense to me. Doesn't hurt that Christianity is the only religion wherein the creator acts consistently selfless toward his creation, not unlike a parent to their child.
