I wish there were a way to do full contact, deadly swordfighting without literally killing people, because I am fixated upon the idea of training teenage girls to be swordsmen in order to inculcate martial virtue in them. I am irritated at how women in general internalize a pervasive sense of fundamental vulnerability due to their slighter stature, and how that inhibits the development of the classically masculine virtues which I highly value, i.e., those which proceed from / are related to physical self-confidence, such as honor and self-sacrifice

Because it's inherently play-fighting. The proper neuro-endocrine cocktail which serves to elicit and imprint the character traits I desire are dependent on feeling actually nervous that you might die and then overcoming it

girls are congenitally unable to understand martial or any other sort of virtue, stop watching tranime where girls act like men, it just makes you more likely to troon out to try and look like your on-screen hero

I think it's at least worth a shot. I recognize that the masculine conception of virtue does indeed proceed largely from the influence of androgenic hormones and how those shape male neurological structures, but a consequence of that is that my intuitive sense of how to dignify and empower women (not in a gay simp way, but just because I like them and want to help them grow stronger, like anyone else I like) is inescapably male-informed and -centric

I hesitate to even get started because I'll just begrudge the fact that I can't go deep right now, but
Corny as it sounds, vulnerability is part of the Feminine's innate strength. Though, true, authentic vulnerability is very different from learned helplessness. And even those who manage to attempt to integrate and embody their feminine vulnerability are either silenced, taken advantage of or preyed on. Feminine virtue isn't respected by patriarchy or exploitative economic and religious systems, or even recognized when possessed. Self-sacrifice is also much more commonly a feminine virtue than masculine. Masculines usually display its shadow aspect if anything, through masochism, ignoble martyrdom without results, disingenuous and emotionally manipulative self-flagellation, and victim complexes.
