If there's a sex scene in the movie then that movie is made for women. A man wants to explore philosophical themes to broaden and deepen his worldview. Stories usually don't tell about people going to the toilet or cutting their nails or any of that mundane physical stuff and that should include sex.

It depends entirely on the movie. If I like the characters or the chemistry is good then it's hot. If it feels forced its just cringe like you're seeing the writer being horny and getting secondhand embarrassment from them.

The only good sex scenes are rape scenes because they actually affect the characters and the plot and make the audience also experience the trauma. Romantic sex can be implied off-screen just fine.
