i could accept this if i could still feasibly/ethically acquire girls the same age, and they still had the 2000s emo/scene girl look, language, and sensibilities.

meh, high school wasn't that good.

The interesting thing for me is that I'm only 22 years old and I've already realized that life is over.
I think I started to feel it about a month after I graduated High School, but I was able to cope because I still had University.
University ended up sucking, I was busy every day and when I wasn't doing school work I just slept in my bedroom.
It wasn't until my last 2 months of University that I started walking to the local bars every few nights. Wish I did that sooner.
Anyway, now that I'm done with College, the excuses have run dry. Life is over, and it really ended the day I graduated High School.
All I do every second that I'm awake is think about the past and how I miss it.

For me, it's primary school.
Which I left in 1997.
And they just closed the school down last month.

Yup, I too fell for the psyop. University is shit and won't fix anything, best you could get is find yourself near spergoids that spill spaghetti all the time and make yourself feel better that at least you aren't butt of jokes
Or maybe 2-5 'friends' that will get you to coast through courses but be constantly busy after classes and disappear completly after graduating
Life is fake and gay and alone
But being alone around people is at least sometimes tolerable

Yes, it's ten minutes up the road. No event though. Just a letter through the door on the last day with pupils, due to traffic regulations. Though it formally closes at the end of this month. Weirdly, despite all I hear about class sizes being too large, this school's registration was only half full, which is why they are closing it down. It was also used as a voting station for elections; so I'm wondering where I'll have to go to vote next time.
Sadly, I am much closer to my secondary school, which I fucking HATED. Even if they have completely rebuilt the place since I left. If I ever get access to tactical nuclear weapons, the first one is going there.
